2008 Competition Show:  HARMONIUM
The GHS Band has announced that their 2008 Competition Show will be Harmonium, featuring the music of Johan Pachabel, John Adams, Miklos Rosza and Bela Bartok.  Be sure to catch the GHS Band and Guard around the State of Florida this Fall. 

***October and November***
October and November are very busy months for the GHS Band.  Please check the calendar carefully to help avoid conflicts with doctor appointments, family outing, SAT, ACT, etc.  It is VERY important that all members be at every rehearsal and performance.  Our success on the field depends on attendance. 

Right now, we know that we will have competitions on the following weekends...
October 11th:  Middleburg
October 18th:  Districts (Lake City)
November 1st:  Showcase (Santa Fe)
November 8th:  Colonial (Orlando)
November 22nd:  State (St. Petersburg)
